Terms of Service

1. Service description

AccessProof provides technical accessibility scans and reports, paid automated EAA readiness reports, human-reviewed audit options, monitoring, and agency reporting where available.

2. No legal advice or certification

AccessProof is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Reports are technical assessments and snapshots in time. They are not conformance certifications and do not certify EAA, WCAG, or EN 301 549 compliance.

3. User responsibilities

You must have authority to scan submitted websites. Do not submit private/internal systems, credentials, unlawful content, or targets you do not control or have permission to assess.

4. Scanning limitations

Automated scanning is limited to public pages in v1 and is incomplete by nature. Manual review is needed for keyboard journeys, screen reader behavior, PDFs, authenticated flows, content quality, and legal interpretation.

5. Payments and subscriptions

Lemon Squeezy or another configured payment provider handles checkout. AccessProof may offer one-time report purchases, human audit orders, monitoring subscriptions, and agency subscriptions. Entitlements unlock only after verified server-side payment events.

6. Refunds

Digital reports are generally non-refundable after generation. If a scan fails and no report is delivered, you may request a retry or refund. Human audit refunds are handled case by case before work begins. Subscription cancellation terms are shown during checkout or account management where available.

7. Acceptable use

Do not use AccessProof for malicious scanning, security testing, rate-limit bypass attempts, automated abuse, or scanning targets without permission.

8. Disclaimers

We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, that every accessibility issue will be found, or any legal outcome. Findings may include false positives and false negatives.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AccessProof and CogentFlow are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the service. Our aggregate liability is limited to amounts paid for the relevant service in the previous three months, unless a different limit is required by law.

10. Changes to terms

We may update these terms as the beta evolves. The latest version will be posted here with the updated date.
